Owner / Founder
He is a seasoned entrepreneur who brings a distinctive vision to cross-disciplinary consulting. As the firm’s owner, Michael guides the company’s eclectic approach to solving complex challenges, drawing upon extensive experience collaborating with and leading initiatives within Fortune 500 companies and innovative startups.
His leadership fosters a culture of deep collaboration, creative insight, and an unwavering commitment to delivering unique, systems-driven solutions. Michael’s expertise bridges diverse fields to uncover novel perspectives, ensuring XDOOD LLC consistently provides impactful strategies that drive tangible results for clients navigating intricate business landscapes.
Altan Sert
Principal
Altan combines extensive expertise in finance, strategy and operations, with experience in capital markets and technology companies.
His background includes FP&A and Corporate Development, where he leveraged acquisitions and financial oversight to grow a company from $250M to $1.4B and expand globally into seven lines of business.
He has over a decade of strategy development experience, most recently directing strategy for IBM’s Research division, developing commercialization plans for a portfolio of over 500 new technologies.
He has extensive experience in capital markets, having founded and run Princeton Biosciences LP, a hedge fund focused on technology and micro-cap equities, for the past 6 years. He is currently also advising a funded stealth AI startup on growth strategy, revenue operations, product management and financial operations.
Altan studied Economics at Harvard University, holds an MBA from Columbia, and is a CFA charterholder.
Dean Chin
Principal
He is a pivotal figure in strategy, mission implementation, and business development, bringing a wealth of expertise from his business background and Ru (Confucian) training. Along with a strong teaching background, he can break down and analyze complex scenarios and multidimensional situations for his clients while engaging them in productive dialogue.
His strength lies in his ability to cultivate and manage robust networks and identify burgeoning opportunities. He is an all-around talent. Beyond being a jack-of-all-trades, Dean has the uncanny ability to anticipate challenges and build a roadmap for achieving the long-term success of any project or venture.
John Homer
Has a 30-year track record of assisting businesses grow by optimizing organizational operations with an eye towards implementing scalable systems that drive measurable growth. Organizations he has worked with have shown improvement in sales conversions, streamlined workflows, and strengthened team performance.
Mr. Homer’s work experience includes corporate communications and digital strategy. He brings a hybrid skill set that blends analytical problem‑solving with hands‑on execution. He received his BFA from Syracuse University and his MS from Boston University’s College of Communications.
